The objective and purpose of the Newport Beach Police Association (NBPA) shall be to promote cooperation between employees in the job classifications represented by NBPA, to provide for mutual protection, to encourage and improve professionalism, to maintain and improve job safety, working conditions, and career advancement for membership.

The NBPA is recognized as the majority representative for the purpose of meeting and conferring regarding wages, hours and other terms and conditions of employment for all employees in the specific classifications.

The NBPA has, as a primary purpose, the representation of its members in matters of employer-employee relations with the City of Newport Beach.

The Newport Beach Police Association is currently undergoing a fundraising effort.  Letters have been mailed to residents and businesses of Newport Beach.  The NBPA does not make phone calls for support! If there are any questions or concerns emails can be sent to the NBPA's Board of Directors at board@newportbeachpa.org or you can call (949) 209-8806.

The NBPA is a non-profit organization whose members change the lives of people in our community on a daily basis through dedication and hard work.

In addition to the impact that they have as Sworn and Civilian Officers of the Newport Beach Police Department, our members are able to make a difference through their association dues.

Member dues are redirected to deserving causes at the discretion of the NBPA Board of Directors.
